Happy Birthday Mark; when you were born, I was 11 years old, going to turn 12 later that year, I remember that a lot of sad emotions were heavily present throughout the gathered family who came to support us. But so was and still is the happiness of knowing you are still apart of our family.

Holiday Favorites
My favorite Holidays are NewYears, Valentines, St Patrick's day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
So why only these 6?
It's because:
🎉🎊 NewYears = renewal of not just the year but also of ones determination into becoming more Christ like😁
💗💝Valentines = the actual day I proposed to my wife, I actually forgot that it was valentines when I decided to ask her to marry me; so lucky me with so many others, when she said yes. Quite the marriage it's been so far too.😊
🍀☘️St.Patrick's day = imagination, but I also think of that part of my heritage, for my ancestors who lived in that country, and yet had a lot to be happy about with all their trials and tribulations of challenges they faced in their lives, so very grateful for them.
🌷💐Easter = a spiritual rebirth because of a Savior, who is Christ the Lord, through whom we can receive much joy, peace, comfort, love and most of all resurrection and eternal life. 😁 Because He died, we shall live!
🍂🍁Thanksgiving = the day of giving thanks, for all that we have, even life itself; celebrating the holiday with family and friends eating a feast, as we all reflect the months of January to October, being grateful for every moment we struggled with challenges, trials and opposition, for its through those that we grow and become more who we are meant to become in the eternities.
🎄☃️Christmas = I love a lot of things for this holiday, starting with Family! Gathering with extended family reignites those relationships that seem to be put on hold after we part each time; meanwhile, having the last name of Carroll continues to remind me of all the wonderful songs and the beginning of our Saviors birth, his life and how he lived is the greatest example we all can follow. For if we all emulate what he taught, our world wide family would be rid of the wickedness and able to bless each other's lives even more. This holiday season is the second time in the year that we can spiritually renew our devotion, though we are able to do it throughout the year each day, by repenting of those things as guided by the spirit, lifting us up to the renewal of a new year.

Family Update
So Our Family has not been on here as much as I thought we would, but that is just fine, I can update with what I know: I, Aaron got married on May 15th to Amber, and we live in the provo area now; James is attending uvu, Rebecca is still trying to finish up in BYU-I as she is planning on graduating in dec
Sarah is hanging in there with working, Peter is working and trying to save up, JanaMarie is a junior in high school, Jared is in 8th grade.
We will update in other ways as well, so no worries.

I personally still can't believe James is home but he is here and is taller broader then i am, nevertheless, i will be enjoying these days as much as possible. the family is getting together today and tomorrow for this whole occasion of having James home again!

reunions
yesterday we had the Phillips family reunion! it was great to see them again; while the week before we got the Eisert family to come and enjoyed their company as well! i do hope that we can eventually get pictures so you can enjoy the event as well. and have a happy Sabbath today!

Today, I've been sitting at home and went to my blog, at the center of the heart, and have typed up some things that have solidified my understanding of why we must turn to the Lord in all things, and so i leave it up to you what things will you personally solidify in your heart? but i do hope it will be the gospel.

My first blog. Wahoo.
So I am blogging. Pretty much the most exciting thing ever. Umm... nothing much is happening right now. Just trying to keep up with my schooling and everything that the teachers expect of us. I started a job at the Rexburg Opinion Center, we don't sell anything but we do call to get surveys filled out for companies. So if you ever get a call from GFK from NOP, an opinion center from New York City... then that is us. We get paid more for all of the surveys that we complete. So if you have time that would be great.
I haven't been on a single date up here. But that is really ok because I am busy enough as it is. A lot of girls that I know came up here to find a man... which is one of the stupidest reasons ever because practically every guy up here is already married, engaged, a pre-missionary or is socially unexceptable. Ok that last one isn't really true. But all of the guys that are avaliable are a little..... not my type. Thank goodness when I go home there are some sane guys that are willing to give me a chance. But they all still need to go on their mission.... *sigh*. Oh well.

i'm currently at byu-catering for work, which is going well. my girlfriend is christy and she has a cute daughter.
nothing much else happens which is sad. well i do hope my brothers and sisters join me in writing what they are thinking and what is happening wtih them?!
